IPXC_Inst::GetExtension Method

Gets an extension by its unique name.

Syntax

HRESULT GetExtension([in]           LPWSTR      sExtID,
                     [out, retval]  IUnknown**  pExt);

Parameters

sExtID

[in] Value containing the name of the extension to return. Possible values:

• "AUX" - Getting IAUX_Inst
• "AFS" - Getting IAFS_Inst
• "PXS" - Getting IPXS_Inst
• "IXC" - Getting IIXC_Inst

pExt

[out, retval] Returns pointer to the IUnknown interface of the extension.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if operation was successful or error code in other cases.
